Biography

Mark’s interest in music began to develop at age 10 as he learned to play the trumpet and guitar. A few years later he started making-up songs (early composing). At age 13 he started playing piano as well. By the time he was in high school he was performing and composing in makeshift rock bands as well as writing marching band arrangements for his high school band.

After high school Mark attended the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University and earned a music education degree. From there he moved to Dallas, taught high school music, performed in various jazz bands and summer musicals, and continued his music composing and arranging.

He eventually moved back home to N.E. Ohio where he continued to teach and perform music. It was during this time that he was introduced to music composing and arranging through the use of computers and electronic keyboards. Eventually his experience using computers led to a new career as an Information Technologist/Technology Administrator.

Today Mark is making music as a solo performer combining years of music and technology experience into a truly professional and polished musical performance.
